Slano Lake
One of the artificial lakes in the vicinity of Niksic. This extensive lake is partially dry but surrounded by mountain ranges with a very beautiful panorama. 2. Manitovac Park
Manitovac is essentially a large playground on a smaller river. It is a small oasis for adults and children. An amazing place five minutes from the town center of Niksic, where you can enjoy your coffee or food in the beautiful shadows of the willows by the river while the children play in the meadow. There is also a good restaurant with outdoor seating. The cuisine is classic Montenegrin, so mostly grilled meat in large portions and of very good quality.
3. The Cathedral Church of St Basil of Ostrog
The Orthodox Cathedral of St. Basil of Ostrog is beautifully situated on a hill in the center of Niksic. It is possible to see it from every point of the city, partly because of its position and partly because it is a building of a certain grandeur. The Bedem fortress is located in the old town of Niksic, which is on the western side of the long boulevard that cuts the city in two in a north-south direction.
