Igalo, like many other small towns - Perast, Risan, Kotor, Djenovici, Kumbor, Savine, Zelenika, Tivat, Krasici, Lustitsa, Nivitsa, is located on the coast of the Bokov-Kotovsky fjord of the Adriatic, the largest in Europe.

1. Tito's Villa Galeb

At the moment, the villa is owned by the state and transferred to the management of the nearby Igalo Institute, which opened for tourists years ago. The villa is located almost at the end of the promenade. It has a swimming pool, mud therapy baths, etc. Inside, the authentic atmosphere is almost completely preserved; magnificent Yugoslavian solid wood furniture, carpets made according to Persian technology, marble cladding, fully working medical equipment, paintings, an air-raid shelter, a pool, which, by order of the marshal, could be filled with fresh, now mineral, or seawater.

The Savina Monastery is an Orthodox complex of three churches located just off of the coastal highway south of Herceg Novi. Entering the monastery feels like going back in time. You can enter two churches and explore the compact grounds. There are also stunning views of the bay. The place itself is so tranquil, the same as its surroundings. You can totally admire the churches’ both architecture and art. You don’t need a lot of time to appreciate its beauty, all you need is at least 20 minutes to visit.

5. Wander Around Herceg Novi
