One of only three occupied houses in a small village, this a very peaceful location set amongst nature with equally peaceful neighbours so this house would best suit a single person or couple who enjoy the same.
It is highly recommended to have a car, although it is possible to walk down the hill to the main road in about 20 minutes. Walking back up takes a little longer!
The stone house comprises two buildings, with the main house containing the main living area and a toilet downstairs. The living area has a double futon style bed which could be used for sleeping, or as a sofa. There is a washing machine in the downstairs bathroom.
The upper floor has a large open landing/room which also has a comfortable folding sofa bed, providing the choice of sleeping upstairs or downstairs. There is also a full bathroom with bath/shower upstairs. The is an air conditioning unit on this landing which provides heating and cooling.
As the photos show, the terrace is expansive with stone paving and a view of the sea and the surrounding hills.
The 2nd building contains the kitchen as was the tradition when the house was built. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything for modern living and also has a log burner fire for keeping warm in the winter. The route from the house to the kitchen is part of the covered area of the terrace, so you can stay dry when it’s raining!
The advertised price is a monthly, off-season rate applicable until May 1st. The on-season monthly rate will be 750 Euros per month between May 1st and October 1st.
